The ability to edit my reports in my text editing softward (in my case MS
Word), including the ability to move footnotes and endnotes around within
the report and have them renumber properly and the ability to add new
footnotes is extremely important to me. I need the ability to allow my word
processing software to treat them as proper footnotes, using op cite and
ibid as needed. I want to be able to remove or add a footote and have my
word processing software automatically renumber all remaining footnotes. I
may be in the minority, but I hope those who also need this will speak up.
I desperately don't want to have change genealogy programs... and I even
more desperately do not want to have to go to TMG, which is nowhere near as
nice to use as Legacy. The citation output style used in Legacy (and many
other genealogy software programs) is totally appropriate for web
publishing, but not for those of us who want to publish in paper.
