GED2CSV is available as shareware, link
http://www.infused.org/software/ged2csv/index.htm

I found it more reliable than any GEDCOM process, but the data structure, while sometimes imperfect, was worthwhile and so I paid the shareware fee.

CSV format may well unsuitable for data transfer between gen-apps, but once imported into database or spreadsheet the data is generally intact, and can be viewed and manipulated with any/all capabilities of the app used.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Data in CSV Format

The other day someone asked how to get Legacy date exported in comma
separated value (CSV) format.

Today in the Eastman Online Genealogy Newsletter, Dick reviews a program
called GED2CSV. Go to

and look at his review. This may provide what you wanted.
