family tree. I have the same problem you have, many many intermarriages, other complicated marriages that are too difficult to explain here. TreeDraw certainly helps. I'm glad you also find it a good program.

I don't have the TreeDraw Legacy edition, just the standard TreeDraw vs. 2. I've found it marvellous for hand drawing charts. In one case, I have two lots of ancestors in which four members of one side married four members from the other side. It's very complicated to work out, but with TreeDraw and its coloured lines and boxes, I was able to make a chart that followed the two lines through to myself and made the whole thing so much clearer. I also like the way you can move boxes around wherever you please, thus getting lots of information onto one page for printing.
I didn't find TreeDraw at all difficult to learn - only the method of scrolling is a bit odd and frustrating at times. Patricia

Trying to create a wall chart with TreeDraw shareware requires advanced computer skills. Legacy TreeDraw costs more than some genealogy programs with built-in wall charts. I disagree with your assessment of TreeDraw requiring advanced computer skills. My computer skills are very, very limited but I can use Tree Draw. It does require a lot of patience and practice as Cathy once said it does have a large learning curve. I feel this is very worth while. The new version (TreeDraw 3) is much easier to use than the older versions. Be sure to purchase the TreeDraw Legacy Edition. I guess the cost of the program being expensive depends on your income, I find 29.95 US (I am a Canadian - retired) reasonable.
