Joan,

This is just a guess on my part, but it sounds like the date may have been set incorrectly on your computer on the day the sources were entered. Your computer automatically tags every file you create with the date and time they are created, but if the calendar is set wrong on your system, it will tag the files with the date it is set for. Legacy and other programs also take the date information for its files from your computers clock/calendar.

Joan,

Would you please backup your Family File and email it to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Along with a history of the problem.

Is it always the same date?

Thanks for using Legacy.

Hi Sherry,

I haven't had any other problems with Legacy. My computer says I am running
the latest version of Legacy. I run check/repair quite often, so I don't
know if it happened after I did that. It doesn't seem to have any
correlation with any date, as it is happening with various people who don't
seem to have the same events. I only find the problem by accident when I go
to use a source. I will keep track from now.

Can you tell me how I might locate all the instances of that date?

Thanks.
Joan L.
