Sure. Check out "Alternate Names" or "AKA". There's an icon with three men (or three women) where you can enter any number of alternate names. You can even swap one of these other names for the main one with a single click.
Perfect when you've got a relative like mine, who used three (that we know of) different spellings of his last name, and at least as many first names... In the name list, under options, you can pick "include alternate names" and find them under any name they might use. Thus it's easy to find "Aunt Peetie", who used Peggy at work, but was born Cornelia Sue. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Alastair Lack Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 14:18 To: Legacy Subject: [LegacyUG] Preferred Name Several of my relatives (including both myself and my wife) are known by our second names, but Legacy reports always use the first one. So Tom, baptised John Thomas Doe, is always referred to by Legacy as John. Is there any way to specify this?
