Herbert, I have found that you can add pictures to web pages by doing the following:

Add the following line to the individuals notes:

p align="center"img border="0" src="pictures/rose_jonathan.jpg" width="361" height="483"/pp align="center"Another picture of Jonathan Rose/p

You'll of course have to change the file name "rose_jonathan" to whatever...

The width and Height numbers will have to be in proportion of the photo so you will probably have to adjust those for each photo. You can view the H x W proportions by opening the jpg picture with internet explorer, right mouse clicking the picture and selection properties. With Windows XP if you mouse over the file name in Windows explorer it will also give you the dimensions. I don't remember if the mouse over forks with earlier Windows versions

Or, you could create an event for the individual and enter the line in the text that would be displayed when the web page is created.

Copy the picture to your "pictures" folder and to the "web/pictures" folder.

When creating the web pages click "No" to both "Delete all existing files" and "No" to "Remove all existing picture files".

I don't know if this would work for reports. I just tried it with the web
page generator and it works for me.

I use this for making all my citation documents available on the web site. For each birth certificate, marriage license etc I cite a master source of for example "Birth Certificate" then in the source detail I use the embedded HTML code to allow a link to be generated to the picture or another web page. In this case the picture doesn't show up on the page but a link does. An example for this would be:

a HREF="pictures/Other Documents/death_clara_komp.htm"Death memorial card for Clara Komp/a

That line references a web page that has a picture on it.

For more information: In Legacy click on Help->Search For Help On... and enter "HTML code" to learn more about embedding HTML code.

If you complete this you can add "Web Site Designer" to your resume....

Good luck,
Gordon

Is there a way to add more then the individual default photo to a report
or
web page? I would like to add 2-3 photos for some individuals. Thanks.
