If file transfers are important, enter the most important "report" name in 
the main name field and sources for the birth date/location instead of name 
or parent relationship sources. Alternate names and sources for names are 
different after file transfers.

Name changes do not have dates unless they are entered as custom events.
PAF 5.2 isn't loaded on this computer to check but I think it is limited to 
one name without sources. Some genealogy programs and web site utilities may 
keep only the last name entered if there are multiples. Imagine a transfer 
with nothing left but married surnames of females. -- Elizabeth
