Nice site. I'm afraid mine is not up and running yet due to a free server problem but hopefully will be running a trial sometime this week. Actually my ancestry will be a section of a larger site.
At present it will only include my family's ancestry but I am hoping to incorporate those of other family members who are also compiling their history.
The point of this is that I will be using exactly the same methods as yourself to link the families together. In fact I cannot think of another convenient way of doing it. In my case all I will need to do is to link my brother-in-law on my site to his site and my sister on his site to my site and then, as you say there will be a seamless connection between the two families.

If you want to see how I did it look at www.jearnshaw.me.uk . The way I created the home page was to copy the "homepage" created for one of the branches and then edit it so that it looked just the same as a Legacy created page.

I need some information about the capabilities of the Legacy webpage generator. I am having trouble making new webpages for each of several lines in my database. The files are always named the same, and so when I upload them to my Geocities site, the new one overrides the old one. So I end up with the new surname index and table of contents linked to my old webpage instead the right ones, which are gone, overwritten.
Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks so much for any help!
