Carol and Barbara - if you put the "1st wife of Francois Gautreau" inside brackets instead of parentheses, I'm pretty sure that bit won't show in reports unless you select to show [private] ... or something like that. You would see it on the screen, but could turn it off mid-research if someone wanted a nice looking report. And if I'm wrong in my description of [private] vs. reporting functionality, I'm sure someone on this list will correct me! ;) --Paula
