That's right, you can only set them for one person at a time - but you can 
change the starting person as often as you like. So switch from yourself to 
your husband when you are working on his side of the family.
I don't use the colours much but switch the starting person for 
relationships often when working on related families that are ancestors of 
a cousin or great nephew etc.
