names

Would using [[ ]] ... double brackets in the title fields, where it
won't go out to anyone but be visible by us when we're working in
Legacy, work to maintain clean name fields for the IGI searches?

I haven't goofed around with the search feature but I do know
information I want on screen for my own benefit can be placed in the
double brackets in the title fields and not print on my reports. This
double bracket information does show up in the name index.

: Elizabeth;
: One way that may help you identify you Gartley infants would be to add
a
: birth or death year Unknown 1889 Gartley, or perhaps if a parents
name is
: known, Unknown [[Ed]] gartely I like dates as they not only help
identify
: but give quick reference to the time period the person was connected
to.  If
: you want someone in 1880s you can ignore Unknown 1920s.
