"... not addressing the known reports issues. As others have so eloquently
noted, the best data is worthless without proper, bug-free reports."

To anyone who has been paying much attention to the issues that are brought
up
on this list from time to time, it should be obvious that Millennia
considers
Legacy to be a one-sided system -- all input and no output.

The report issues are so numerous that it is hard to keep track of them all,
and very few are ever addressed. Legacy has so many excellent report types,
each with countless options. But absolutely none of them can be counted on
to always work they way they should. The fact that so many errors are
present
when the software is released does not bode well, and the fact that so many
are ignored even after being reported is an even worse sign. The scariest
part is that things that do get fixed in one release are again broken in the
next release. Every release turns into a game of try-to-find-out-what-we-
broke-this-time.

There isn't even an attempt at outputting charts, instead pointing us to
other
sold-separately programs. I have not purchased any of them, but from what
I've seen as samples on each of their web pages, none of them seem to be of
very good quality or flexibility and they are all very much overpriced.

And I won't even consider Legacy to be an acceptable input system until they
do something about the random drive-by data entry that can happen due to all
of the hidden hot spots on the blank areas of the screens.

Considering how much we all seem to like Legacy, just imagine if it
actually worked!
