Robert:

Yes ... that's it ... but my files are smaller than most, I guess ... my father's ancestors (both sides) from Scotland are 296 people at present ... my mother's father's line is just over 300 and will top out at about 600, and my mother's mother's line is about 400 ... I don't take them back to prehistory ... and I don't include most collateral lines beyond a spouse's parents. And these are in three seperate files.

Also, the report as requested through Legacy would enable one to pick who was included. By tags, focus groups, descendants, ancestors ... even just a single family ... mom, dad, and kids.

Thanks to all for their interest in this 'simple report' ...

        Bob

Is this an example of what you want?
Date Ancestor Event Location
08/31/1987 Piggy, Mamma Birth Delta Farms,Texas
12/21/1991 Lil Pig Death Chi County, Alabama
01/29/1994 Big Pig Marriage Alpha Farms, Florida
11/27/1995 Hogg, Ima Birth Alpha Farms, Florida
07/11/1998 Hogg, Boss Marriage Delta Farms,Texas
(I hoped this stays lined up.)

If so, I think it is doable. Keep in mind if everyone has a birth, marriage,
a 2nd marriage, then death, that is 14,268 lines for a modest file
containing just 3567 people. At 14268 lines, and 52 lines a page, this is
275 pages. Are you sure this is what you want?
