Attn Support:

I just discovered a little problem encountered with v5.0.0.203, 4 Feb 2005 paid version.

I entered an entire family based upon a search for a person that turned up negative... BUT I had the family already under a different spelling of the first name. I would have thought that the search query by example would look at the AKA names as well but it doesn't.

I searched for Lazure CROTEAU when I first conducted the search... none being found, I continued to add the family to the data base.

While looking at the index view, low and behold I see another person with an aka of Lazure, proper named Lazarre CROTEAU with the same date of birth etc... needless to say - it was the same family.

Is there something I have missed doing, or does the search feature not check the AKA names.
