I used to use The Master Genealogist (upto version 4). You could create  
a single event and add principles and  witnesses. So for a census you 
would enter the head of household as principle and the other members of 
the household as witnesses. This is one of the TMG features I miss 
most.  I dropped TMG because I found it crashed all the time and there 
didn't seem to be much development .
Could Legacy support let us know if something like this feature is planned?
