It's not a problem for me because I don't have any leading commas on 
my web pages!!

If you don't add leading commas to your locations they won't appear.

If I only know that a birth occurred in New Jersey then I'll enter 
"New Jersey, USA".  If I know the county was Hunterdon then I'll 
enter "Hunterdon County, New Jersey, USA".

If I only know the birth occurred in "Metropolis" then I enter that 
as a note until I discover the country/state/ whatever.

My location list is sorted right to left.
