I always have trouble remembering if the starting person is included in the
generation count or not. I usually inspect the results to see if I got it
right. The Help file doesn't explain it either. But I probably wouldn't take
the trouble to RTFM in this instance anyway. ;-)

Legacy could add a little note on the screens i.e. "(not including starting
individual)" to make things clear.

What is the common practice in the genealogical community? If I say a
descendant report shows 3 generations, is the topmost person included?
