One thing I would like to see is the ability for Notes to be independent of individuals, sources etc and to have the ability to link these to whichever records they relate to, as you can with Sources. At one stroke this would solve the problem of note-taking and of repetition in e.g. census entries where you either have to copy the entire household into each CENS entry or make a separate Source for each census household. Family Historian does this and it works well. I am currently trying to decide whether to go with FH, for this and for the interactive diagramming tools, or to stick with Legacy which has been such a useful and powerful tool for me.

I'd be interested to hear further how you'd envisage improving
Legacy's notes structure to support note taking. I suspect I'm missing
something!
