Hi Sandra,

As usual, the versatility of Legacy offers many solutions to the
same problem. I have been faced with the same thing on several
occasions and handled it in differing ways.

In one case I brought the folks in with a GEDCOM adding a unique
source to them, tagged all with that source and cleared the tag
after having verified all the relationships, accompanying sources,
etc. The presence of the tag allowed me to include or exclude them
from many reports, if desired.

In another case I needed to key the data into Legacy. I identified
all the new folks as "Private" until the data was proven.

Happy hunting, Don
