Robert, yes there was a release for the public shortly after the release for the beta testers - same day. This happens frequently.
Foxy, the beta updates are placed in a separate location from the general release updates. When a beta is ready for release to the general public, it's placed on the website for the public. If you update from within Legacy, you'll only get the update for your version of Legacy - you wouldn't get the beta, only the release version. Usually the update is uploaded to the website before a notice is sent out (imagine how upset users would be if the notification got sent and the update wasn't there yet!) If you're the type to check regularly for updates before you see the notice posted to the list, then you'll need to either wait for the post to find out about the updates or go to http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/RevisionHistory5.asp (also accessible through the Update link on our website) Thanks for using Legacy. Date: Thu, 14 Apr 2005 07:39:57 -0700 Jack, there was no updates issued on April 14th. There was a update for the Beta Testers. The users group should not get this update message. Only the test group should get this release for testing and debugging. rsjolin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack Graham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, April 14, 2005 1:35 AM Subject: [LegacyUG] Update 12th.
