Does your complex directory structure age well?

I'm just beginning to add pictures also and am struggling on the directory
structure.

It seems that if I decide on a structure, load the directories and then add
those images to Master Sources, Source citations, ToDos, individuals, etc.
I've got a big job if I change my directory structure.

Or am I missing something (hopefully)? I know you can change the root for
the Legacy Picture location but if everything (or anything) changes below
that structure don't you have to change everyplace that you add the pictures
too?
