Reading down, old to new, you know if the subject
is the same, or if it has changed in mid thread.
With top posting subject and body are less likely
to agree and there is less continuity.  Bottom posting
is more likely to keep the writer on track.

It shouldn't surprize anyone that most emails
follow Micro$oft's standard.  Legacy is in
Bill Gates' pocket, since its product will only
work on Micro$oft OS or emulator.
