If they are all in the same folder it shouldn't be too bad. I save my file between two different computers so the first time it opens the file the next time it says the picture is missing and do I want Legacy to look for it. I say yes. It then finds all the photos, not just the first one it said was missing. It's really pretty cool.

Thanks, it worked and it looks like that is what I want. I do have another question now. I want to put all of them into one folder for the CD. Will my cousin have to run a search for each of the pictures because of the different paths specified in the original datafile??? Marianne

Marianne, look at the media backup feature. I think that will do for you what you are looking for.

Hello everyone.
I want to put a Legacy file on a CD to send to a cousin. I want to be able to include all of the pictures that I have in my own database, but if I have the pictures in files scattered in various files on my computer, how can I be sure that I have all of the pictures included in the file I put on the CD? Is there a way to run a search of all the paths, and copy the pictures into the picture folder that I plan to include on the CD?
I hope I made this question clear, if not please let me know and I will try to rephrase it.
Thanks.
Marianne
