Dejan,

Legacy was developed with Visual Basic 6.0 and our goal over the next year
is to port it to the new VB.Net development tool which will allow us to have
full Unicode support. At that time we would be interested in other
languages if we can get enough people like 8 to 12 to form a small
translation team. We have learned a lot from the current translations we
have been working on and hope to make Legacy a great international program
available in many languages.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re[2]: [LegacyUG] Legacy in other languages

Hello,

> Legacy will be available in all languages as it is in English...

What are the chances to have Cyrillic script versions?

My native language is Serbian (Cyrillic script officially), and I need to
enter Cyrillic names, notes, titles etc. I am capable of doing that now,
but by pure chance only. I was lucky to be very experient with system
codepages, font codepages, system localizations etc, but even so, in
numerous cases I have to do a lot of job before I get legible cyrillic
reports.

I know there are a lot of people who would use LFT, because currently they
use other genealogy software, much poorer, but supporting Cyrillic
data.
