Hello Genealogists,

I am not very experient with events. I have been using Legacy for
several years but started to use the events only recently.

I need to add the same event for all male male-line descendants of a
male ancestor. Is there a way to do it in a single try, without
opening every person's details again and again?

If you are curious, it is the issue of family patron. Each and every
Serb Orthodox family has its family patron, a saint from Orthodox
Christian legacy. He is celebrated on the day devoted to him by the
Orthodox Church. It is passed on from father to son and on, and very
often it is a means of connecting relations between distant families.
For instance, if my family name is specific, unusual (which is), and
if my family patron is specific, rare (which isn't), and if I meet
another person with the same surname and the same family patron,
chances that we are relatives are 99.99% :)

By the way, my family patron is Saint George, celebrate don April 23rd
according the Julian, or on May 6th according to Gregorian calendar.
