Hi Cnb

I add it to the Given Names - I'm usually sure of the surname and also want the surnames to sort together (I put variants in the AKA and the sources as I want to be able to compare in the index view eg Thomas Cupper and Thomas Cooper) And I've remembered I now use brackets instead of single quotes or you get a potential problem error of too many apostrophes.

Cathy,
Could you explain exactly how/where you add "possible" or "probable" to the
name as a compound surname, e.g. Cooper Possible?? I'm interested in this
technique as I'm trying to sort out Drews floating around the Forest of
Dean, Glos and Herefordshire.
