Hi,
I'm just wondering why use the Occupation event for anyone that you have a
census on? It just seems redundant to me when the person's occupation is
listed in the census info to also have an occupation event. So I've stopped
using the occupation event unless I know an occupation changed after 1930 or
for people with occupations after 1930.

What about making a new event called "Occupation-Living" and custom

current occupations of living people. Would that work?
Seems a lot simpler to me to just use multiple Occupation events. Anyway,
that's how I deal with the folks who had multiple occupations in my file.
After all, depending on how detailed one wants to get most people have
more than one occupation during their lifetimes.
