either one could be true, that it was information left over from an imported
GEDCOM or from an earlier version, or that it was entered into the wrong
field in the first place (it's not intuitive that you would be allowed to
enter words like "infant" or "young" into a date field).

I have seen "infancy" as a place in the master
location list.  I thought that someone had entered "in
infancy" in the place field instead of the date field.
 Later I have wondered if this might have been
importing a GEDCOM frm an older version of another
program to an older version of Legacy??
