Keeping back ups on another hard drive in your system is nice and
convenient.
I hav a removeable I use for that purpose. But I also keep backups
on other media, including CD's. If something bad should happen to your
computer, you could lose both drives. Having Backups on alternate
media is a good thing IMO, in addition to having it on another internal
drive.
