A good idea - I've made a number of suggestions recently via the website and
have never received an acknowledgment.

My only request would be that when a bug is reported, an issue number is
provided back to the person reporting it. Then when a release is announced,
a list of resolved bugs by issue number would indicate whether your issue
had been included as part of the release. I have wasted a lot of time
re-testing each release for the bugs reported. This is standard practice
for most software development departments.
