If you have a CD burner in your desktop computer, and you saved the Legacy installation program, you're all set. Another way, if you don't have a CD burner, would be to transfer the setup program to the laptop via a flash drive (AKA jump drive, pen drive etc. You could possibly pick one up tonight at a discount store that's open late. Useful tool!) Or if your computers are networked, move the setup program through the network. Rather than move your data via Gedcom, it would be better to Backup your family files through Legacy, then Restore into the laptop. Here's another place a flash drive could come in handy. Hope this helps. Questions -- please ask. Kraig __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
