Hi, Susan and Roger - One little addendum to Roger's instructions... When you copy the search string from the original email, paste it first into someone's notes field. Why? Because when you select it to copy from the email, even when you're careful, you're likely to get other stuff surrounding the code that you don't really want. So if you paste it first into someone's notes field, you can eliminate the unwanted stuff. Once you've pasted it into the notes field, select just the string that's inside the < > brackets, and not the carriage return, hidden codes and other stuff that you may have inadvertently picked up when you copied the search string out of the email. I hope that makes sense. Delete what's left, close out your notes field, and now paste the new copy of the search string inside the customized search box of Legacy. Voila!!
Roger, I too want to add my thanks for giving us the GenCircles search string. Not something I could have done easily myself, but it works a treat. Thanks a million! cheers, Kirsty Haining Seattle, WA :-) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Roger W. Make sure you do not replace the bottom text box. - Click Save - Select the new search - The text you gave it as a name should be shown in the Internet Searches screen - Click Close. - Select a person and select the new search and click the search button and it hopefully will work Hope this helps Roger Susan Daily wrote: >Roger, >Can you explain where to place/use this search string?
