Patricia,
If you don't mind, can you send me a screen shot of this problem directly to
me? You can use the sample file (Asa Brown). I'd like to check it and see if
I can come up with a solution for you. I will take a look at if after lunch.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Multiple Lines of Descent Report
Please does anyone know how to stop the male individuals from indenting
more than the females on a Multiple Lines of Descent Report or a
Descendant Book Report. I'd like to have each set of children in one
straight column if possible. I've checked through all options but can't
see anything to help.
Regards Patricia

I have created a descendant report from the Asa Brown file in the RTF
format. Upon examining the indent problem I found that there are an
equal number of tabs in both male and female children. If you replace
the F with an M the indent corrects itself. This leads me to believe
that the problem is related to the proportional width of the F and the
M. Changing the tab stop from .6" to .63" gave all children the same
indent.
Perhaps Millenia can change the default in the programing to reflect
that setting?
