Ok, I will try it. If I make a list of PPR, do you want me to just say I
made the list or send the list of problems to you?

Well if anyone has the ability to download my file and try to check for
potential problems...just use the first one "check all except those marked
exclude" and tell me if it freezes or crashes on you....that would be great

The file is here to download...easier than sending via e-mail since it is
zipped up in 12 MB

Thanks so much in advance....ps. I have 736 MB of memory on an XP with
Norton installed...I uninstalled Norton with no effect. My memory I upgraded
about 3 months ago

Donna
How large is this file??

If you can't find someone to try for you...and the file isn't too large
..then send it and I will try for you. My system has 2 gigs ram...we can
maybe see if it is a resource issue.

Regards
Henry

Yes, I tried running repair and compression and clean up with no change.

I even tried splitting up my files and it still wouldn't work until I ran it
about 5-6 times. Eventually it would go to the end but I had to try only
small sections at a time...only about 5000 people at one time

Donna,

Did you try running a File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair before running
the report?

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Potential Problems -> Blue Screen of Death

I have a big problem....and I can't figure it out...ever since I upgraded to
the latest update 3 days ago, every time I use check potential problems
(except those that are marked excluded), my computer crashes...I mean a big
FAT blue screen at 80% it shuts off and restarts. Tried about 20 times until
my file became completely corrupt from restarting in the middle of checking
for errors. Had to restore a back up...but I can't use the 'check for
potential problems' function. I could do it last week but since the latest
update I can't. So how am I to check for errors in my file if I can't use
the potential problems function???
