Hi Ron - exactly the point. BE Kelly answered this thread with a quote from the K&K help file - exactly the same as for the Legacy version. I've never been able to get this part to work - although I obviously have linked databases the 'Format' - 'Database link' option has always been greyed out (there is no "drop down button to the right of the edit box and select the required database"). I have had a look at the SpanSoft Forum and found the following 3 messages: >I read with interest your news item about the forthcoming release of >Treedraw v3. Another, related, enhancement, would be a better algorithm for placing objects in the workspace on import. Very large trees need a lot of moving around to optimise the space and get something which is easily printable.< Is this a fair description of the problem which you have identified? Thank you for drawing this to our attention. At least if I now go ahead and buy it I am aware of the problem before I hit it. Ron Ferguson -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
