Ron,

When v6 is finished and ready for final release, you'll get a comprehensive
list of features and will be notified of availability, although Eastman's
article pretty much covered the major new features.

A pre-release version was available to those attending the Legacy classes at
the BYU conference last month, so it *is* happening and getting very close.
We had hoped to have v6 officially released by that time, but it wasn't
quite ready and since Geoff had already scheduled to teach classes on a
couple of the new features, we went ahead with that plan.

I believe Ken posted to the group awhile back that he had *hoped* that he
could include a witness feature but discovered that it would take
considerable restructuring in order to accommodate this. The feature hasn't
been forgotten and we know that users would like to have it.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] V6 Features

Dennis, thank you for the link, but it only partially answers the question.
Perhaps Millennia would be so kind as to provide us with a comprehensive
list of new features. I have been waiting nearly two years for a witness
feature. I would like to know if that is finally going to be in version
6.0. If it isn't in 6.0, then despite Ken's assurances that this is
considered a very important feature for Legacy, I think we can forget about
seeing it.
