The same thing happens with Canada which began as Nouvelle France, evolved
to Lower and Upper Canada, then Canada East and West before actually
becoming Canada in 1867 with the first four Provinces with the remaining
provinces joining in gradually from 1870 to 1905.

It's not just UK customers, Keith. I live in the US and have a thousand
persons in my database from Scotland alone. And I haven't even begun on the
English, Welsh and Irish yet. Keeping up with the border changes for Fife,
Clackmannan, and Perth, to name a few, and the name changes
for Forfar/Angus and
Edinburgh/Midlothian, as well as the evolution of Parish to District are
driving me up the wall. The geolocation list is all but useless for the
timeframe
I work in. It feels like I plow new ground every day and sure could use the
kind of help you are suggesting. But it doesn't put me off from
Legacy. --

However the
UK, for one, has a similar issue with county names changing over time. This
would be a great feature if you could have a database for each country. Are
there any plans for this? I don't how many units Legacy sells in the UK but
I can imiagine it's this kind of functionality with a very specific US
focus, which alienates many UK customers from trying Legacy, much to their
loss as well as Millenia's.
