Create 9 books, create giant index in Excel or similar. Rich in LA CA -----Original Message----- From: Jo Autrey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Aug 25, 2005 1:14 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Descendant Narrative still doesn't work for what I want
Thanks, Cathy, for the information. I checked it but it still isn't what I'm wanting, and don't know how to do it. I'd like a chapter for each of the nine children of Elbert Autrey with a Table of Contents showing the nine children as each chapter and the index for the complete book. I would also like the children numbered within the generation as it's so much easier to keep track of the order given. It looks like it can't be printed the way I want it using Legacy. However, I do like all their reports. I could print individual Descendant Narrative report for each child and create my own Table of Contents, but the index wouldn't work. Each chapter would have it's own index.....and I've never seen a book like this one would be:) Surely there has to be a simpler way using Legacy.....
