Do you mean there is a lot of empty space between events? If that is the case, I have been going into the event and holding the delete key down after the last period in the notes. This gets rid of the extra spacing.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Family Group Record problem

Has anyone tried a printing a Family Group Record lately? I have nearly
1000 to print out as the last time I did it was years ago and all the
information needs updating. I printed one to test it and found the lines
for events were too widely spaced. I have the events set to use Sentence
formatting and bullets. Font for data is set to Times New Roman 10 and
Line Spacing to 110 as is usual. The Born, Addr, Christened, Died etc
lines are fine, but when it comes to events the lines are spaced too far
apart. But it gets worse. If the event takes two lines then the line
spacing is very wide and it doesn't return to the original width even if
the next event is only one sentence. One of my events took up 5 lines.
The line spacing ended up in excess of 1 inch and the following event
which took up two lines had line spacing of almost 2 inches. It looks
horrible as well as using up more paper than necessary. Would some kind
person please check this out for me and let me know if you get the same
result. If not, it must be me doing something wrong.
Regards Patricia
