Shirley, 
I've had this happen several times over the years, after "swapping"
main name with alternate name. (Believe it's because the alternate
names doesn't have a field for UID.)
Have you done a swap, or maybe deleted an alternate name?
Anyway, once it's "fixed" seems not to make any difference to your data.
(Sherry please let us know if we should worry about this?)
