Thank you Sherry for the recommendation, however, nothing changed. Allow me
to clarify the problem a little better. First, my configuration, I am
running XP Pro with 1 GB of RAM, and two monitors. So far, V6 seems to be
working all right with exception of when both screens, (main menu screen and
active database screen,) are maximized on either monitor, then all fonts
with the exception of the tools and the menu fonts are bolded. It is the
same when the database screen is minimized to fit within the main screen and
the main screen remains maximized.

If I scale the main screen, and you can only scale it when the minimized
icon is selected, then if I stay within a quarter of an inch of all images
of the monitor than the fonts are working normally. As soon as I dragged
the scale out to the full size of eather 17-inch monitor, all fonts bold
again.

This is not an unworkable situation. However, I don't think that the fonts
should be jumping from normal to bold when changing the window size.

There was a workaround that was recommended to adjust the font options to
minimum of nine points and a maximum of 12 points, and leave the "auto
stretch when resizing option selected." That's been working for me.

I realize that this is a very busy time for everybody in Legacy, and since I
am able to continue to operate the program without any problems, I see no
reason to worry about it until Legacy is caught up. I figure if it isn't
corrected within the next month or so, then I would contact Legacy at that
time and bring it up again.

Thanks
John

John,

With Legacy closed, go to the Legacy folder on your hard drive. Delete the
legacy2.usr file and see if that helps.

Thanks for using Legacy.

No don't Ignore it I'm having the same trouble. I moved v6 back and forth
across the monitors yesterday, and it somehow corrected itself, but now it's
messing up the fonts again. It acts like in a different resolution screen,
and will not reset.

Ignore this message. Having sent it, the program suddenly decided to behave
itself.
