The different browser interpretations of web paging coding is still around and is a separate problem to those caused by spaces and letter cases. That is why it's necessary to check web sites on different browsers - and even then it's not always possible to get pages to present properly on all of them

In a 'previous life', I had the same code and the same server respond
differently for different browsers.  As I remember, it was Netscape--does
that dates me?
Perhaps they have fixed the problem.  (only to have it resurface on
servers...?)
