All (I think) buttons have key combinations. These are usually Alt + the
underlined letter in the button name.

HaHa, now I see it all. When I changed my resolution from 800x600 (which
it normally is) to 1024x728 I see that there are a row of control buttons
along the bottom. I haven't seen those before as my screen ended on the
border of the selections. So the question arises why do I have to do that
now, when I have never had to, to see the bottom of the screen in Legacy,
before? Tks for the altN tip, how is found on that page, how do you know
it is there, what actually does it control? Now I see what the Medium
refers to.
