Legacy 5 and 6 reports have a new check box for "Include Border Line" for pictures. It was mentioned to me in private e-mail but not documented in the Legacy 5 changes to the program that I noticed. It was available June 12, perhaps earlier, long before the final build of Legacy 5 on August 10.
Legacy charts with pictures did not print the border line with default settings but there is an option now to include one. The border line box must be reset for each report, unlike other picture settings that are kept when Legacy 5 and 6 files are closed and reopened. Legacy would be easier to learn, and book reports easier to create, if the settings were the same from one part of the program to another. A Legacy 6 family book project would be spoiled by having duplicate names with and without RIN numbers in the index. Oval pictures, non-rectangular pictures like Asa Brown and some rectangular pictures with light backgrounds look better without a black box. Earlier suggestion was to create matching-size rectangular individual pictures specifically for Legacy reports. -- Elizabeth Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
