Sometimes ... all that's needed is a "gentle" nudge? 8-b While the
"timeline" I have on my site is / was ( originally ) meant to show "only"
historical events during a specific era or life time, personal ( family )
data can be added with a little extra work, as seen in what I did with mine.
It may not follow how the LEGACY version is laid out, but is still a
timeline, from xx date to xx date.

We plan to add historical data as part of the timeline report. We had
hoped
to release it with the initial release of version 6, and it did not get
removed from the help file yet.
Thanks,

Thanks very much, Dick,
You certainly have a most interesting site.
Actually, I'd really like to hear Millennium's take on the apparent
fact that you can't add a historic Timeline to the Timeline report. I
really find the concept of seeing which of all one's grandparents were
alive when e.g. the Mayflower sailed or Waterloo was fought, brings
history alive. One needs the parallel columns of the Timeline report.
Warm regards
Alastair
