Lewis,

Good point, and I understand where you're coming from. I'm
particularly thinking, though, of relatively recently deceased
ancestors. For example, three of my Grandparents died before I
was born, and I always seem to forget their Anniversaries.
Perhaps it's an Irish cultural thing, or an Irish Catholic thing,
but anniversaries of death are quite important things to remember
and to mark in some way for us.

6 months, 12 months. Maybe an option for how far back to check
the death dates. I would hate to see several thousand of them
on a calendar! Or maybe tagged ones?

Paula,

I see from an earlier post that you're using v5. My apologies, I
should have headed my e-mail with a v6 as part of the subject.

In version 6, on the Individual's Information screen, you can
select "Birthday Reminder" for the individual concerned, and on
the Marriage Information screen, you can select to be reminded of
this wedding Anniversary. You can then see the upcoming
Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries on the new Legacy Home tab
and even how far in advance to be notified (giving you a chance
to organise cards or gifts!)

Anniversaries of Dates of Death. I would find it very useful,
just to allow me to remember my ancestors. Maybe it's just extra
"bells and whistles" that we don't *NEED*, but, after all, isn't
that what this whole genealogy thing is all about, remembering
our ancestors?

Legacy is based upon), I wouldn't have thought it a major feature
to add in alongside the Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
reminders.

helpful/useful for you, or do you think it's just extra bells and
whistles which we can do without?

Dermot.
