Brian, thanks for the response. I managed to get the problem resolved. I
don't remember exactly what the sequence of events were but I originally had
V5 and V6 installed. I wanted to have both versions installed for a few
weeks while I did some testing and make some folder changes during my
upgrade to V6. After several install/uninstall attempts for each version I
was able to get the uninstall to work properly. And now I'm back to normal.

Thanks,
Gordon

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Error When Uninstalling Legacy

The install.log file windows is looking for is one created when
an application is installed. It is a text file of all the changes
made by the program so the windows uninstaller program can find
and remove the files, directories and registry entries added by
the program. In my case it is located in the Legacy installation
folder. If this file is truly deleted then you may be out of luck
in removing the application from your system.

If you like I can send you, off the list, a copy of the install
log file for my version 5 of Legacy and a listing of the registry
entries in the uninstall section of the registry to activate an
uninstall. This will only work though if you installed your
Legacy 5 in the same directory as I did. If your legacy is in
another location you will have to amend the install log file
directories to point to your locations. I should also point out
that my version of Windows is 98 SE so there may be location
differences between my version and your Windows XP Home.
