So I should put Sir in the prefix and Bt or Kt in the suffix. Then in notes mention that Bt stands for Baronet or Kt stands for Knight. Does this sound about right?

The suffix Bt. Is used for baronet and Kt. For knight

So . . .
Sir Archibald Carruthers Bt.
Or . . .
Sir Archibald Carruthers Kt.
