Don, We made no changes. This all started when Adobe came out with Reader v7. We use a third-party PDF generator, which hasn't been changed since we first started using it. We have been working with those developers to try to solve this problem.
The solutions on our website are the best we can offer at this time. Unfortunately, it works for some people using the earlier versions of Adobe Reader and Legacy, but not all. Believe me, we realize how important this feature is to our users and are trying to solve the problem. Thanks for using Legacy. That did solve the problem here at my desk, but the reason for wanting to use PDF is to be able to forward the best looking documents possible to my correspondents. It seems a lot to ask to have all of them retro-grade their Acrobat Readers. It does seem to me that it is possible that Adobe has a problem in backward compatibility to early versions of their own PDF specification. >From experience, I know that it is also possible that Millennia has >done something "kinky" in the code they place in the PDF file. Earlier Acrobat Reader versions may have tolerated it but the new one doesn't. I know that's hard to believe but it has happened!
