I had the same problem, but it wasn't limited to the IGI entry of a direct ancestor. If I manually entered a new GGG grandfather, the relationship wouldn't be displayed. I finally discovered that if I selected "Set Relationships" from the Tools menu, which forces a recalculation of relationships, then the new ancestor's relationship will be displayed.

Hi Bruce,

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I just have the relationships displayed on the Family View Screen but if I enter, say, a new GGGG grandfather directly from the IGI matches, then the relationship is not shown. If I delete all his details then re-enter them as normal then the relationship is displayed.

Like I say, it's only a niggle and I just wondered if you had met the same problem.
